Antique furniture model

Sample - London - Queen Victoria Period - Mid 1800s - Mahogany wood.
Model created in London, circa mid-1800s, full Queen Victoria Era.
These samples were cabinet-making tests that the client requested in order to better imagine how the piece of furniture he commissioned would have looked like. And the restorer set to work to create these smaller versions. A kind of analog rendering.
Our model is in mahogany wood with a patina, still to be restored (beauty care as always included in the price) with 6 small drawers with original knobs and a vertical flap on the side that allows you to lock the drawers. Note the delicious original key inserted in the lock.
You can use this antique in a thousand different ways: as a bedside table, as a jewelery box, in a bathroom for small towels, in a kitchen for cutlery, napkins and spice racks, between two sofas, on a desk as a document holder, etc… In short: indulge yourself!
When antiques are curiosity.
