Large sculpture depicting the God Dionysus or Bacchus, God of the joy of living and of what is good, but usually, unfortunately, it hurts.
All plaster sculpted in patina, Germany, circa mid 1800s.
Small wear and nicks on the base, but no breaks, statue in excellent condition.
Be wild too like Dionysus!
