Chest of drawers - Genoa - Louis XIV Period - Early 18th Century - Lacquered wood and marble top.

Chest of drawers that does not need too many explanations: Genoa, early 18th Century, Louis XIV Era.

The lacquering is typical of Liguria: dull tones that turn from yellow to green, "fogliacce" decoration with red floral motifs.

Top with original Siena yellow marble that follows the rounded movement of the chest of drawers itself.

Almost "contemporary" dimensions that make it suitable for any decor.

In the photo you do not see the brass knobs which have been temporarily removed to proceed with the restoration.
