Antique Parisian writing desk
Writing desk – Paris – Directoire Period – Late 1700s, early 1800s approximately – Walnut, gilded bronze and green leather.
One of the most elegant writing tables that Rattopennugo has ever dealt with: two drawers with original gilded bronze knobs, as well as the friezes which, being also placed on the back, make the desk finished also on the back, therefore “in the center”.
Blond walnut with patina, exceptional size, Paris, Directoire period which in antiquarian jargon is meticulously placed between 1795 and 1803.
Top in green leather, also original, profiled in golden arabesques.
The writing desk is frankly very charming, but it needs restoration, which is included in the price and which we will gladly explain in detail to the purchasing customer.
Antique furniture that smells of history and culture.
