Game table - Genoa - Louis XVI Period - Late 1700s - Reserves in different woods - Red leather - 1 drawer.
Genoese game table, very elegant in its sobriety.
Louis XVI Period, around the end of 1700s, all inlaid in various woods including dark and light walnut.
From a console with a checkerboard top, the rear legs slide and allow the support of the top which opens, revealing the interior lined in red leather.
1 drawer with original worked brass handle.
Please note the finesse of the fret, lateral too, and the darker walnut band placed on the truncated pyramid legs, to give movement to the structure.
The piece of furniture has been restored and is considered (we asked!) ready to be welcomed and loved by a new family!
Once opened the table becomes almost square: 81 x 80 cm.
