Ancient extra large model of a vessel, all in carved wood and two-tone lacquered (green and ecru) on the hull.

End of around 1700, Italy, rough wooden support created in a later period.

Legend has it that, like other nautical artefacts that have come down to us, these models were created by sailors on board ships as a pastime to overcome the boredom during the crossing.

The price takes into account the conditions of this antiquity: the sails are missing, cracks and wear, but the vessel is not messed up with a low quality of restoration.
