Pair of candlestick – France – Napoleon III Era – Late 1800s – Silvered and brassed metal.

Pair of large candlesticks, column shape with references to the Corinthian style: the alternation between the chosen materials (brass-plated and silver-plated metal) and the botanical elements gives dynamism and movement to this antiquity.

Note the upper cup which can be removed to allow the insertion of larger diameter candles.

Wear, patina, small knocks, but candlesticks in really good condition, not sold individually.
