Pair of antique lamps from Genoa
NOT AVAILABLE
Pair of table lamps - Genoa, Italy - Louis XV Period - Mid 18th Century circa - Wood and silver-plated copper.
These table lamps come from Genoa, they are the typical church palm holders, later reinvented as a lamp. But what were and are the palm holders ?! In a simple way it is a vase with a pedestal suitable for containing compositions of fake flowers or radiated palm trees, of pure decoration.
Complete with their fan-shaped lampshade always in gray tones, they are about three hundred years old, mid-1700s, full Louis XV period.
Note the beauty of the metalwork: silvered copper embossed in foil then applied on a wooden pedestal structure.
Wear, patina and small deficiencies that, in our opinion, do not affect the aesthetics of this antiquity.
Electrical system guaranteed and redone, the pair is not divisible and cannot be sold without the lampshades created ad hoc by one of our French craftsmen.
Measures are with lampashades on.
