Pair of mirrors - Genoa - Louis XV Period - Half of 18th Century circa - Carved, gilded and mecca wood.
A spectacular pair of small Genoese mirrors: notice the cartouche work on the wood as if it were a silk ribbon, sinuous and soft that slides everywhere.
Carved wood gilded with gold leaf and in some places with mecca (gold and silver).
Original mercury and reflective mirror plates, small wears and small chippings, but no defects.
Only ancient Genoa, only the Louis XV Period (around mid-1700s) could create these antiquities.
