Rare and curious Chinese drawing of considerable size, depicting a delightful scene: two children in the lower part of the painting steal persimmons from a tree helped by two mischievous monkeys.

Note the color faded by time, the aesthetic linearity of the line and the composition that plays with the full and empty of the scene.

Drawing on rice canvas, modern red lacquer frame.

Full Qing Dynasty which actually lasted a long time (1644-1911) but the patina, the mocking subject and the technique, make this antiquity datable to the end of the 1700s.

Really good condition, rare antiquity.
