Thonet style antique rocking chair

Rocking chair - Vienna - Early 1900s - Thonet style - Beech wood, Vienna straw.

Viennese rocking chair is functional, but to be restored in the polishing (included in the price)

Early 1900s, beautiful ovoid shape reminiscent of the highest levels reached by the Thonet cabinetry, still active now (for a few more details about the history: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Thonet)

In hot-bent beech wood, seat in original Vienna straw.

The chair is unsigned and, in addition to the polishing, it would need a resurfacing in the seat (small cracks that in any case do not affect the resistance) but being original straw, not included in the price.

Resistant, usable and guaranteed in carpentry and as Mark Twain said:

“Any respectable home would need a rocking chair”.
