Reliquary - Genoa - Louis XVI Period - Second half of 1700 - Carved, "mecca" and lacquered wood.

Ancient Genoese reliquary, early 18th century.

Of important dimensions, traces of original "mecca" (silver and gold leaf applied) on the all-wood structure carved and lacquered in gray.

In the center, where the relic of the Saint was originally placed, probably stolen, we now find an ancient mirror.

Wear, patina, small lacks, but really excellent overall condition.
