Antique Secession box

Case - Vienna - Early 20th Century - Secession Style - Handworked brass.
Rattopennugo was born almost 50 years ago driven by an unstoppable passion for antique frames and boxes, even if he then got a little carried away with it...
This box discovered in Vienna is really interesting for antiques enthusiasts, as it is a pure expression of an era: its sober, geometric and elegant aesthetic leads it back to the Secession, the Austrian Art Deco (do you remember Klimt?!)
Box entirely made of brass worked and hammered by hand with decorations typical of this short but significant artistic movement.
Not signed, but everything brings to mind the works of the great Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann, whose work influenced, and still influences, European design.

Small knocks, unrestored wooden base inside, but in overall truly excellent condition.
For collectors.
