Antique mirror with shells

Not available

Mirror - France - Early 1800s - Real shells and original mirror plate.

Small vertical mirror created with the arrangement of real seashells as ornamental motif.

Original mirror plate.

Only in France and in the early 19th century, could they give that extra touch of chic to the object by using a larger valve as a decoration in the upper side of the mirror.

No lack and breakage, practically perfect mirror almost as much as the reflected antiques dealer.

Have imagination: it is not that just because it is built with shells it should be placed in a house by the sea!
