Coffee table – Paris – Approximately 1930s – Chinoiserie lacquered wood, gold, polychrome marbles and semi-precious stones.

Rattopennugo is lucky enough to empty the furnishings of an ancient Parisian hotel, from which this antiquity comes.

Coffee table (foldable in the legs!) from Paris and from around the 1930s, when Europe (and perhaps not wrongly) thought that the greatest example of elegance in furnishings belonged to the millenary oriental culture.

Black lacquer on wood, gold decorations, top with scenes of geishas and landscapes, all recreated by sculpting polychrome marbles and semi-precious stones in relief. Crystal to protect the sculpture.

Small defects in the sculpture, fading in some points of the gold decoration, but in very good overall condition.
