Ancient tray Alfredo Ravasco
NOT AVAILABLE
Tray - Italy - Art Decò Era - Early 1900s - Onyx, white pearl and coral.
Decorative tray that recalls the amazing antiquities of that great genius of Alfredo Ravasco: Genoese who found fame in Milan in the early 1900s and whose luck must have been all the first to have understood the taste of the roaring '20s.
Ultra refined artist, famous for his creations, often sculptures with a minimal structure enriched with decorations in precious materials: gold, silver, coral, pearls, lapislazzuli and so on, giving free rein to his creativity as experienced goldsmith.
If you don't know him, we really advise you to deepen that it's worth it ...
Our tray recalls so much Ravasco's works and also owns its elegance (albeit more sober, less opulent) and therefore does not have a function, if not to decorate and amaze.
Italy, Art decò Era, beginning of 20th Century.
Tapered structure in onyx, ends in red coral and central white pearl.
Ancient restoration of the structure in onyx, patina, but no lack.
For collectors.
