Vase - Austria - Secession Era - Early 1900s - Hammered copper and brass.
Vase for collectors.
Discovered in Austria, the materials and aesthetics refer to the Secession artistic current of which Gustav Klimt was perhaps the best known exponent.
In hammered copper, handles and profiles in brass and note the drops carved on the upper edge, as if the vase were overflowing with liquid.
For the refinement of the Design probably coming from what was once the Viennese Secession School: the Wiener Werkstatte, a name not very catchy for us Italians, but of fundamental cultural importance for all of Europe, was an artistic collective founded among others by the architect Joseph Hoffmann (for some more details: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_Werkst%C3%A4tte).
Practically perfect conditions.
