Sideboard – Paris – Around 1930 – Painted Chinese lacquer wood and worked metal.

Rattopennugo is lucky enough to empty the furnishings of an ancient Parisian hotel, from which this antiquity comes.

Sideboard from Paris and from around the 1930s, when Europe (and perhaps not wrongly) thought that the greatest example of elegance in furnishings belonged to the millenary oriental culture.

In black lacquer on wood with painted scenes of daily life in gold and other colours, with figures in handpainted wood (please note the details) which are almost more reminiscent of Japan than China.

Exceptional dimensions, guaranteed capacity thanks to the doors with internal shelf and the upper drawers, door closure in hand-crafted metal.

Minor wear and tear and lack of lacquering which Rattopennugo, in agreement with the Customer, intends to restore, no breakages.

Antiquity full of charisma that does not go unnoticed.
