Decorative panel – Italy– First half of 1700– Oil on board with gilded frame.
The scene is divided into two parts: at the bottom of the architectural structure, carved in wood and gilded gold leaf, there is a marine landscape characterized by those chromatic and drawing delicacies tipical of the 1700s and that the Rococo brought together in its artistic synthesis.
In the upper part, the scene is more aulic: surrounded by two Cherubs, we find the iconographic representation of Wisdom, that look at us directly with a sweet and playful glance. The painting is oil on board and is in excellent condition.
