Oil on canvas of large size and in excellent condition with its original gilded wood frame.
The subject is among the most poetic: in this rural landscape in the foreground a delightful rustic house stands out and in the lower right two little girls, joyfully, wash a goose, while its feathered friends stare at during the washing.
Signed Barta, of which Rattopennugo found no mention, presumably Italian, around the early 1900s.
Wear and patina on the frame, but in general very good condition.
