Sample of antique carpet

Sample of carpet – Istanbul – Primi ‘900 – Lana ricamata.

A very curious object this very small framed carpet, probably a sample to show to the client for the version of the right size.

Istanbul, early 1900s, in embroidered wool, beautiful colors.

Under glass, red passepartout, more recent twisted wooden frame.

Small flaws, but in really good overall condition.

To have fun with antiquities.
