Antique Boulle style clock

Table clock - France - Napoleon III period - Late 1800s - Ebonized wood, gilt bronze, tortoiseshell, silver foil and ivory.
French table clock from the late 19th century (Napoleon III period).
The style refers to the theatrical aesthetics of Boulle furniture: ebonized wood structure, richness of materials, proof of skill of the cabinetmaker with inlays, filigree, decorations and reserves. One wonders how long it took the artist to build it.
Nothing is left to chance and the clock still performs its original function, that of surprising the guest (as well as striking the hours, of course!).
In working order, with original gilt bronze pendulum and key.
Rattopennugo can guarantee the functioning of the clock, but remember that every time this type of object is moved, it must be re-calibrated on site.
Mancanze di alcune riserve in tartaruga e lamina d’argento e sul quadrante, ma struttura ebanizzata mossa perfetta.
