Old English clock
Table clock - London - Queen Victoria Period - Mid 1800s - Mahogany burl, thread, brass and glass.
We at the Rattopennugo have a passion for all English antiquities, especially those created during the reign of the mythical Queen Victoria (about mid-1800s): the simple aesthetics, but full of details, the functionality, are the first reasoning for the creation of everyday objects designed to improve the life of man, what will then be the basis of the principles of modern design.
This small table clock belongs to this description: London, Queen Victoria, all veneered in mahogany briar, original domed glass, paper clock face.
Note the details of the front thread in lighter wood and the turned feet in solid brass.
Restoration on the rear arch, but in very good general condition.
Not tested in operation and the price considers it.
Please, indicate the name of the object in the form. If you're reserving this article for a wedding list, tell us the name of the couple too. Thank you!
