Unusual set of 4 chairs from Russia with central carved lyre motif.

The movement, the opulence of the zoomorphic motifs on the backrest, the gilded Greek frets and the friezes also gilded, all refer to the Empire Period, very early 1800s.

Lined in an original yellow-green damask silk, solid mahogany wood.
