Antique Swan Empire Bookends
NOT AVAILABLE
Bookends - Genoa - Empire Period - Very early 19th Century - Carved, painted and gilded wood.
Pair of elegant bookends depicting two swans in motion, note the refinement of the neck of the swans all in painted wood.
Genoa, Empire Era, early 1800s.
In wood gilded with gold leaf in the shaped wings, body in ecru-colored lacquer with patina.
Good size, not too heavy, ultra chic.
Wear, patina, shortcomings and some breakages which, in our opinion, do not affect the aesthetics or use of this antique.
The price is per set, swans that cannot be sold individually.
Wow effect.
Obviously the written measure is of a single swan.
