Antique French shelf
Shelf - France - Art Nouveau Period - Early 1900s - Painted gypsum.
Ancient shelf of considerable size from France and entirely made of sculpted and painted plaster with original patinated colors that vary from the purplish bunch of grapes to gray with a touch of dull green on the leaves.
As can be seen from the botanical details of this branch that climbs the stem of the shelf, corresponding to the full style of the Art Nouveau Era, the French Liberty (first decades of the 20th century).
Wear and patina, but in excellent overall condition.
The useful chic: imagine this antique in a kitchen, in the bedroom as a bedside table or even in a bathroom.
