Antique alabaster freestanding mirror
Toilette mirror - Paris - Art Deco Period - Early 1900s - Alabaster.
Countertop mirror all in alabaster, from Paris and from the Art Deco period, first decades of the 1900s.
Note the botanical work of the sculpted alabaster: when time was not yet money and many hours could be dedicated to the creation of everyday objects, making them small works of art.
Also note the geometric reference typical of the early 1900s in France on the base on which the mirror rests: those inlays of vertical lines are always in alabaster, but in a different colour!
Breakages and shortcomings which the price takes into account.
Interlocking mirror plate, not original, antiquity therefore also usable as a photo holder.
For collectors.
