Pair of vases - China - Qing Dynasty - Around 1800 - Majolica with enamels and bronzes.
Pair of Chinese vases from around 1800 (Qing Dynasty) in painted majolica, enamels and bronze profiles in black patina.
The subject is curious and certainly to be explored: the childish characters (typical representations of nineteenth-century China) are all in motion, concentrated, it seems, in a battle scene with swords, dragons and even umbrellas!
Large dimensions, small wear and tear, craquelé, old restorations on the mouthpiece, but in good general condition.
The price is for the pair.
