Showcase-bookcase - Denmark - Biedermeier style - Early 19th century - Thuja blond wood, glass, crystals and mahogany profiling.
Showcase that can also be used as a bookcase: the solid blond wood (thuja) in contrast with another darker wood (mahogany), the curved lines and the general ultra-essential and refined aesthetic, all this testifies to belonging to Biedermeier Style, whose highest expression was in Northern Europe.
Denmark, early 1800s.
With glass also laterally, crystal shelves adjustable in height according to your needs, inside lined with a paper to be replaced, as well as to give a general re-polished to the wood in patina, as always necessary restorations included in the price. Curiosity: this piece of furniture has a secret rear compartment that is hidden when the piece of furniture is placed against the wall.
