Revolving table bookcase - London - Second half of 1800 - Queen Victoria Era - Oak wood.
Antique revolving bookcases are now collector's items: difficult to recover especially given the functionality and practicality typical of Victorian England.
Ours is also beautiful: in solid oak, note the inlay work on the contrasting wavy top.
Of excellent size, London, Queen Victoria Era, circa mid 1800s.
Original mechanism, working and with 4 compartments that can accommodate many books, wear and patina, but overall in really good condition.
