Ancient Genoa "Macachi" nativity scene

Not available

VENDUTO

Nativity crib – Genoa – Empire Period – Early 19th Century – Patina walnut shrine, painted terracotta nativity scene.

Ancient nativity scene in a large display case from Genoa, as evidenced by the terracotta figurines typical of Liguria, the "macachi".

Opening display case from the Empire period, early 19th century, all in solid walnut wood, nativity scene inside the rear, but from the 1900s.

Antiquity with no breaks, wear, patina, but really excellent overall condition.
