Half wardrobes are very comfortable pieces of furniture: higher than a sideboard and lower than a wardrobe (hence the name) they can be used for both clothes and crockery.
Furthermore, ours is really ancient: Louis XIV era, early 18th century, French, it has two drawers (one with lock and original key) and two doors.
Fantastic dimensions, given the measured dimensions of the depth, one of the warmest colors of solid walnut still in the original patina.
